The coin is part of a series that dates back to 1979. The 1/20 oz piece was first minted in 1993 and gave collectors on tight budgets the opportunity to own coins from this iconic collection. This piece which comes in a sealed plastic square from the Royal Canadian Mint, was struck from 1/20 oz of. It remains in GEM Brilliant Uncirculated condition.

The coin's obverse bears Susanna Blunt's right-side portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The effigy has featured on the series since 2005.

It is distinct from other depictions of the monarch in that it shows her wearing only earrings and a necklace rather than also showing her with a crown or tiara. The monarch's name, "ELIZABETH II, " is inscribed on the rim at the top.

Inscriptions on the bottom note the coin's face value, "1 DOLLAR, " and date, 2020. A single sugar maple leaf features at the center of the reverse.

The iconic Canadian symbol also appears on the country's flag. Every element of the leaf is executed in fine detail, which makes the leaf come alive as the holder moves it in light. The name of the issuing country, "CANADA, " is inscribed above the leaf, while the coin's purity, "9999, " is noted on the left and right.

An inscription in English and French notes the coin's weight along the bottom half of the rim, reading, FINE GOLD 1/20 OZ OR PUR. We cannot make any price adjustments after the sale is complete.
