In honor of the milestone, the Royal Canadian Mint has issued this spectacular gilded silver proof coin shaped as a miniature Mountie Hat. This 2020 Classic Mountie Hat coin is expertly crafted from 1.5 Troy oz. The coin features a special gold plated bristle finish, designed to replicate the texture of felt. The hat's iconic shape measures 52 mm in diameter. The hat shaped coin carries a legal tender value of twenty-five Canadian dollars. The coin will arrive as packaged by the Mint. The coin is one of only 6,500 minted. Obverse: The obverse, which is the underside of the wide brim of the hat shape, features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and a member of the RCMP on horseback.
