With each release, the coin has featured the same imagery with a distinctive finish. The 2022 dated Peace Dollar is minted with an innovative pulsating texture on the reverse. When the coin is tilted, the coin's surface appears to ripple, an effect caused by light reflected off of hundreds of tiny mirrors.

New to the series for 2022 is the addition of this five ounce weight coin. This 2022 Canadian Peace Dollar coin is struck from 5 Troy oz. The coin represents the first release of the series to be minted with the 5 oz. The coin measures a generous 65.25 mm in diameter, with a standard reeded edge. The coin features a spectacular ultra high relief proof finish.

The reverse imagery of the coin is enhanced by a pulsating field texture. The coin will arrive as packaged by the Mint.

" Additional inscriptions include "PAX" (peace), "2022" and the artist's initials "ST, crediting Susan Taylor with the elegant imagery.
