2020 Silver Canada High Relief Lucky Dragon. In Chinese lore, the Dragon is emblematic of the highest order, those who are worthy of the comparison are those who are capable of high achievement, and immense power and influence, in addition to possessing good fortune in all their undertakings. The Dragon bestows an air of royalty, prestige, competence, and great fortune to those who are associated with it. This Royal Canadian Mint, 1 oz, 9999 pure, high relief, rendition of the Dragon pays homage to the great Dragon.

The reverse side depicts a stylized, coiled in a figure-eight position, with a menacing scowl, etched on its face, as it clutches the pearl of wisdom in his claws. The Royal Canadian Mint, who is world-renowned for their high minting standards and attention to detail, maintains their reputation with expert texturing applied throughout the depiction.

The Lucky Dragon is brought to life, as the high-relief, proof image contrasts the tastefully frosted coin field, which contributes to an almost three-dimensional image. The coins, 9999 purity, metal type and denomination, and the nation of issue are also seen on the reverse. The obverse contains the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Susanna Blunt, over a coin field containing radial lines.
